5/9/2019 (Permalink)
There will be a sobriety checkpoint conducted by the Massachusetts State Police in Worcester County this upcoming weekend. The sobriety checkpoint aims to bring awareness to impaired driving and to of course remove impaired drivers from the road.
This will take place from Friday, May 17th to Saturday May 18th. Please note that the time and locations of checkpoints have not been disclosed. If you are driving sober and responsibly, there's nothing to fear, right?
Right.
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 2016 impaired driving accounted for about 28% of traffic-related deaths. SERVPRO of Southern Worcester County reminds you to drive responsibly and with caution, because you never know who will be affected by your actions.
