Nate Lashley is a 36 year old pro American golfer who was had his fair share of adversity in his life. He started golfing at an early age with the support and help from his loving parents. 

His life would change forever after the 2004 University of Arizona regional match in Oregon. After seeing his parents and college sweetheart, Leslie, after his match Nate would get the horrible news that every son and boyfriend fears. Days after, after worrying about his families whereabouts, they found the bodies of his dad, mom, and girlfriend. They had been in a plane crash near Wyoming. 

After this, he could not be present in the game with everything going on. He chose to try something else, so he began working in real estate by 2012. However, shortly thereafter he realized that he wanted to golf, and that it came naturally to him. He recently won his first match as an alternate in the PGA Golf Tour. His story is inspiring for all of us who have overcome adversity and make it to the other side.
