Winter Storm Warning - Massachusetts
12/2/2019 (Permalink)
There is a winter storm warning in effect until 7AM Tuesday, December 3rd.
Heave snow is expected to fall with accumulations of 4 - 10 inches.
This could impact travel and early morning and after work commutes.
- Keep a flashlight, food, and water in your car in case of an emergency.
Stay indoors during the storm.
If you are outside, walk very carefully if the road or sidewalk is icy.
Before you head out on the road, let someone know where you are headed and what time you will get there. Just in case your car gets stuck.
When you are shoveling the snow, be sure to take breaks in between.
Always stay dry, as leaving wet clothes on can cause you to lose body heat, increasing the risk of hypothermia.
At SERVPRO of Southern Worcester County, we always want you and your families to be as safe as possible during winter storms. If your home suffers from any water damage due to snow melting, call us at (508) 234-3399 or visit our website.
